Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site property inspections
- Identify and document housing disrepair issues
- Take images and meter readings as evidence
- Complete accurate inspection reports
- Explain findings clearly to residents
- Liaise with caseworkers, solicitors, and support staff
- Adhere to GDPR and Health & Safety protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in property surveying, housing inspections, or building maintenance
- Knowledge of common housing disrepair issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Desirable:
- Experience in social housing or tenant support
- Confident in handling objections and difficult conversations
